Kick off the holidays with some Coney Dogs from Coney Island!

By Stephen J. Bailey, posted Nov 14th, 2015 at 8:53AM

Open seven days a week, Coney Island sells an average of two thousand hot dogs and hand-chop over fifty lbs. of onions daily. The food is delicious and it is easy to tell by the constant stream of customers that come through the front door. Coney Island opens early and it’s not uncommon to see folks stopping in for a few Coney Dogs for breakfast. The key to their success is in the food. In the last 100 years their menu has stayed consistent. If you haven't tried their Fort Wayne Famous Coney Dogs yet, it's a requirement. Order a couple or a couple dozen!

Muster Up Your Hunger for The Big Buster Sandwich!

When in New Haven, it is very common to make a pit-stop at Don Hall's Commissary for a bite. If you haven't had The Big Buster Platter, add that to your to-do list. The Big Buster Sandwich is Hall's original triple decker with cheese, shredded lettuce, and their secret sauce that makes it oh so tasty!
