ON THE TABLE

Chili's Baby Back Ribs

By WOTW, posted Mar 15th, 2011 at 12:27PM

On the table this week are the delicious Original Baby Back Ribs with Shiner Bock sauce from Chili's. Chili's smokes their own ribs in-house over pecan wood to deliver a bold flavor with the meat falling off the bone. Read the rest of the review for our thoughts! Chili's has always been know for their Baby Back Ribs but how do the new flavors and pecan wood smoked flavoring fit into the mix? Lip smackin' good! We tried the Original Baby Back Ribs with the Shiner Bock BBQ sauce and we really think these ribs can compete. The flavor is bold and delicious and the meat truly did fall off the bone. Our only grip is that they could be a bit more moist and rather seemed a bit dry compared to some other BBQ joints around town. The ribs are available in 3 flavors, Original, Shiner Bock, and Memphis Dry Rub and are served with cinnamon apples and homestyle fries. The half-rack rib option is also available and is served with just homestyle fries and the Mix & Match Ribs allow you to choose two different flavors and your choice of two sides. Enjoy!

FEATURED REVIEW

You can’t beat the crab cakes from Black Canyon!

The Crab Cakes from Black Canyon will melt in your mouth. These are jumbo lump Blue Crab with Pommery Mustard sauce and served with delicious, steamed broccoli. The sauce is not overly spicy and brings a soft texture to each bite of these delicious crab cakes. Like everything at Black Canyon, they offer a unique approach to well-known dishes!
