Think Healthy Options for National Nutrition Month

March is National Nutrition Month. Eating healthfully is easier than it seems. Here are a few tips for eating better:
- Be aware of portions: You are likely eating more than you realize. When in doubt, eat less.
- Think color: The more variety in color on your plate, the more vitamins and nutrients. Fruits and vegetables are where it’s at!
- Nix fried food: Instead, go for baked or broiled meats.
- Start your day with breakfast: Breakfast fills your “empty tank” to get you going after a long night without food. And it can help you do better in school and work.
