Wine Down Tastings & Tapas opened to great fanfare in Downtown Fort Wayne, earlier this year. The buzz was well deserved. This local favorite was very thought-out from the location to the interior to the wine to the incredible menu. I'm sure that many of you have stopped by their location at The Harrison to enjoy the wine, the view of Parkview Field, and their dining tables and couches.

We all know that as much as decor and service play into a successful business, it won't matter if the menu is not up to par. Wine Down more than succeeds with their offerings. As someone that has eaten at nearly every restaurant in the Fort Wayne area, I was so excited to see Wine Down offer something new. The food and the presentation is something all their own. 

From Tapas plates to Flatbreads to Bourbon Balls smothered in Jack Daniels and melt-in-your-mouth Bison Burgers, they have something for everyone. Our first recommendation is our On the Table feature: the Wine Down Bison Burger. This dinner option offers fresh ground bison served open faced over a bed of bleu cheese coleslaw, on top of a toasted waffle, smothered with espresso BBQ sauce, Gouda cheese, and prosciutto.
