Whenever I hear about Salvatori’s from a friend or acquaintance, it is always followed with “have you been there yet? You have to go!” This has happened at least a half dozen times in the last year. I finally made it out to their west Fort Wayne location to try the food. I was impressed. It’s not hard to find good Italian food here in Fort Wayne. However, Salvatori’s manages to take it to …

Salsa Grille is officially open at the Village of Coventry! With the same affordable pricing and delicious taco cuisine that we have grown to love from their north location, their food is now readily available on the southwest side of Fort Wayne. Bringing new life to the former location of Carlos O'Kelly’s, it’s great to see people filling the parking lot again.I remember frequenting this …

Black Canyon was hopping! I didn’t expect to see the nightlife and long line of patrons when I arrived tonight. With a beautiful atmosphere, gorgeous bar, and 45 minute wait for a table, this is officially the new hot spot for the Dupont area of Fort Wayne. People came dressed to impress. The drinks were cold and timely, the service was prompt, and the food was incredible. I saw a lot of steaks b …

Waiter on the Way saves the day! I had a friend call me in a bit of a panic. She had a last minute luncheon for her company that needed to be taken care of with a limited time frame. She happened to mention this to me as we were getting off the phone. I told her, “Don’t worry about it! Just call Waiter on the Way. They can absolutely take care of everything for you.”She did just that. We tal …

Koto Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi is one of only a handful of specialized sushi spots in Fort Wayne. Located off of Washington Center Road on the north side of Fort Wayne, they offer not only original sushi options but much more. Their appetizers and entrees are large in terms of options and perfect in terms of taste.I definitely struggle with a slight sushi addiction and I was thrilled wh …

Chili’s is back and better than ever. I grew up on them and have written reviews before, but with their recent remodel and revamps, I wanted to stop by and see what was new. Chili’shas managed to keep the same appeal by keeping their food staples while providing a brighter atmosphere, more colorful menu options, and technology advances that I haven’t seen anywhere else in town.I ordered …

Shigs In Pit BBQ was packed when I stopped by for lunch this week. As a lover of Fort Wayne development and local Fort Wayne food, nothing makes me happier than seeing patrons that dine local. Shigs In Pit revamped the location at 2008 Fairfield Street. When I visited, the parking lot was so full, I had to park a block away. No complaints here. I would walk ten blocks for a bite of their BBQ. …
