Waiter on the Way is still operating during our normal business hours. We know you have concerns over the COVID-19 and we are taking them seriously. We want you to know that your health and safety is a priority for all of us at Waiter on the Way.
We take pride in the professionalism of our drivers and the care they take to service our customers. We are fortunate to have an amazing group of drivers and staff dedicated to serving this community during this unprecedented time.
While the drivers never touch the food, they do transfer the restaurant bags into our delivery bags. We want to assure you, it has always been our practice that these bags are disinfected daily.
Upon learning of the pandemic, our drivers were promptly reminded of regular cleanliness policies, including frequent hand-washing. They have also been asked to take additional measures such as the use of hand-sanitizer and other recommendations by the CDC.
To date, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration have no reports of human illnesses that suggest COVID-19 can be transmitted by food or food packaging, but we remain vigilant in working with restaurants to ensure efficacy and safety remain the top priority.
