The Rib Room has been serving Fort Wayne guests for over fifty years from their State Street location. Even after all these years, many still consider them the best ribs in town. The atmosphere in the restaurant is straight out of the Rat Pack generation with its unique tables, bar, and setup. The food is classic and delicious with a taste that just does not go out of style.

The Rib Room offers everything from Calamari and Shrimp Cocktail to Broiled Salmon and Lobster, and of course, don’t forget the BBQ ribs. They offer ribs in slabs, baskets, dinners, and tips. Their pricing ranges from affordable dinners to go as well as exquisite meals for a formal night in, six days a week.

If I had to recommend a full meal for the evening, I would start with their escargot appetizer before moving on to their Greek Salad (crisp lettuce, topped with diced green onions, beets, feta cheese, pineapple, tomatoes, olives, peppercini’s, and oil and vinegar dressing). Make sure to save room for a half slab of ribs (served with their one of a kind sauce, and bread). Other items worth mentioning that are often overlooked are their cheeseburgers and seafood items.
