In case you’ve been hiding under a rock, Scotty’s Brewhouse is officially open in Fort Wayne. Welcomed with more than open arms, it has been packed each night since its official grand opening. This includes Thursday night when I stopped by with some friends.

If you were a fan of Buckets, you are going to be surprised with the new landscape. The new venue is wide open with a large seating arrangement, numerous large screen televisions, and plenty of room for patrons to dine and socialize with each other. 

The six of us dined on appetizers, soup, entrees, and cold drinks. I have no idea how the staff handled such a packed house but we had multiple servers help with our drinks and food, and the manager even stopped by to make sure our experience was a good one. They mentioned to keep everything running smoothly. Did I mention the food?

We tried the wraps and salads. The BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad really hit the spot. I loved the combination of their BBQ mixed with ranch. I think what I enjoyed the most was the surprise of the Cheeseburger Soup. It tasted exactly like you’d think: a delicious warm cheeseburger. I’m definitely going back for more, soon.

My friends loved their entrees. Hot food served fresh and quickly. Combined with the new atmosphere and great location, I’d say that Scotty’s Brewhouse has found a new home in Fort Wayne. If you aren’t ready to brave the lines during the weeks following the grand opening, you can order their entire menu online via Waiter on the Way! They even have a gluten free menu area.
