Naked Tchopstix
It’s hard to believe that Naked Tchopstix has been in Fort Wayne for several years now. I remember stopping by during their opening week and experiencing not just food done well but a unique atmosphere for both business lunches and nights out for dinner. Over the years I have sampled a wide variety of appetizers, entrees, and of course, the sushi.
Naked Tchopstix does a great job with presentation. The food always looks like it’s coming straight out of a magazine shoot. Today, I ordered the Caterpillar Roll filled with eel, crab, avocado, cucumber, avocado slices, and drizzled with unagi sauce. This was after a full serving of their Crab Rangoon (five homemade fried wontons stuffed with cream cheese and crab filling). Together, it made for the perfect dinner.
My guest tried the Bulgoki Entree that included thinly sliced beef marinated in soy sauce, garlic, Korean marinade, and charbroiled. I sampled it and the taste was warm and savory with just enough soy sauce mixed in to give it the perfect kick. It’s these little ingredients that make their lunches, dinners, and sushi bar such a success here in Fort Wayne.
I also highly recommend all of their soups and their Bento Boxes. With a wide variety of sushi and more and more sushi business opening up in Fort Wayne each year, I have found unique sushi rolls at Naked Tchopstix like the Orange Sunshine Roll, The Playboy Roll, and the Mafia Roll. I find that Naked’s sushi offers a unique twist on integrating both fruit and soy in a way that I don’t always find in other restaurants.
If you can’t make it out to Naked Tchopstix, give Waiter on the Way a call! They offer the entire menu online with a long list of items to choose from. The best part is that you can get sushi from Naked Tchopstix seven days a week thanks to Waiter on the Way!
