I dined at dozens of restaurants in the Fort Wayne area during 2015 and reported back my findings from each taste test right here on the weekly WOW blog. I went through each different post and made a list of my favorites. From unique to affordable to healthy to sweet, the restaurants in Fort Wayne definitely hit the spot. They kept me well-fed and coming back for more.

The most unique entrees that I enjoyed were from two new locations in Fort Wayne. The Hoppy Gnome's Whiskey Pork Belly is so good. The meat just falls to pieces and melts in your mouth. Found on top of delicious mashed potatoes, it's the perfect blend of perfection. The original tacos found at Taqueria B really are original. You aren't going to find their creations anywhere else. It's a powerful punch of zest and crunch. (I love those slices of avocado and onion!)

I have loved salads my whole life. When layered with the right ingredients they can be a delicious meal while keeping me energized and feeling good. This year, I found two different salads that I ordered time and time again without ever growing tired of them. The first is the Beef Tenderloin Salad from Hall's Gas House and the second is the Cobb Salad from WOW Factor. I recommend asking for extra avocado and a side of blue cheese dressing for the Beef Tenderloin Salad. For the Cobb Salad, order it exactly how it was created and you will want for nothing.

I also have to add in being pleasantly surprised by Wu's Fine Chinese Cuisine. I recommend the Orange Chicken with White Rice and side of Crab Rangoon. This isn't your typical greasy buffet style food. Instead, you will experience well-crafted entrees with perfectly designed sides. Their soup and salad options are also quite delicious.

Last but certainly not least was my favorite dessert. May I introduce to you the Brownie Obsessions from TGI Friday's. Why the obsession? It's because it is made with a melt-in-your-mouth brownie covered in Ghirardelli chocolate fudge sauce, vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce and peanuts. It packed a powerful combo of both crunch and sweetness. Say yes to this and indulge.
