The Firefly is a Fort Wayne staple for coffee, artisans, and unique food options. Located off of North Anthony Boulevard, this entire area continues to grow and thrive with new shops and dining spots. The Firefly is part of the reason this area has continued to grow with its eclectic vibe and warm environment.

I stopped in for a bite to eat. Firefly is great for healthy salads, baked goods, and smoothies. I highly recommend the quiche (which is available gluten-free) and the Queen Bee Smoothie (Pineapple, Mango, Banana, ½ lb of fresh frozen fruit, apple juice, and live culture yogurt.)

Open seven days a week, it’s a great place to enjoy a meeting, read a book, or take in the sun on their patio during the warmer months of summer. The staff is always incredibly friendly and able to assist patrons with recommendations from their extensive menu. Did I mention the coffee?

Cafe au Lait, Brewed, Cafe Florentine, Zebra Frappe, Caramel Frappe, Turtle Latte, Iced Breve, Cappuccino, and anything else you can think of. Their coffee menu is long but not overdone. Each flavor, option, and size is perfectly necessary. There’s no coffee craving you can’t fix with an order from the Firefly.
