If I’ve learned anything in the last year since I started food-blogging for Waiter on the Way it is this: there is no lack of good food in Fort Wayne. With an online menu system that boasts food delivery from over 150 restaurants in the area, and new restaurants being added regularly, I am certainly not at a loss for motivation. Take a quick review with me through the last year as we get a great reminder on where to dine in the Fort.

Waiter on the Way moved their headquarters to Downtown Fort Wayne and for good reason. With the rebirth of Downtown, I’ve enjoyed ribs at Red Rok, Coney Dogs at Fort Wayne’s Famous Coney Island, the Beef Tenderloin Salad at Don Hall’s Gas House, and French Onion soup done right at Main Street Bistro and Martini Lounge. Speaking of Downtown, have you been to Toscani Pizzeria?

With spaghetti that melts in your mouth, Toscani’s knows how to deliver (and so does Waiter on the Way). For other unique Italian options, I stopped by Fort Wayne famed, Casa Ristoranti Italiano as well as Salvatori’s, Biaggi’s, and Zianos. From one of a kind salads to pasta dishes, each restaurant has their own specialty dish and delicious sides.

For authentic dishes, some of my biggest enjoyments in 2014 were the Crab Rangoon from China Palace, the sushi from Sakura, and the Thai food from Switta Thai Cuisine. Oh! and don’t forget to try the Playboy Roll from Naked Tchopstix. 

I’m leaving a long list of restaurants out that I know you love including Granite City, Baker Street, Black Canyon, Chili’s, Texas Roadhouse and many more. I can honestly say, I didn’t have one bad experience this year during my weekly food adventures.
