Koze Thai Cuisine, located at 6709 Lima Road, has been open since the beginning of 2015. As a lover of Thai food, it has been on my to do list. I stopped in right after opening hours and was as impressed with the inside decor as I was with the service.

I ordered the Pad Woon Sen with Tofu, the Papaya Salad with Grilled Shrimp, the Thai Beef Noodle Soup, and the Crab Rangoon. For the record, I don't handle spicy food well. Even though spicy is a core ingredient of Thai food world, I always opt for mild. The Pad Woon Sen is made up of clear noodles, mushrooms, white onions, carrots, snow peas, celery, napa cabbage, broccoli, egg , and scallions. Aside from the Crab Rangoon the Pad Woon Sen was my favorite dish. The soft texture of the tofu combined with the clear noodles made for a great combo.

The Papaya Salad with Grilled Shrimp is made of shredded green papaya, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, peanuts, and Thai chili lime dressing. Even though I asked for mild, I managed to eat everything in spite of it being just a little spicy. It took a couple follow up glasses of water to cool down but it was well worth it. It photographs well and for those with a taste for spice, it will definitely meet your expectations.

The Thai Beef Noodle Soup is what surprised me the most. It wasn't just because it was delicious but because it was so big. This is not your typical bowl of soup but is an entire meal in itself. Made up of rice noodles, bean sprouts, scallions, cilantro, sliced beef, meat balls, and beef base, this noodle soup is a combination of spice and texture. What I loved most was the beef broth. It was so good.
